"Most people are afraid of suffering. But suffering is a kind of mud to help the lotus flower of happiness grow. There can be no lotus flower without the mud." -Thich Nhat Hanh

We all have moments of feeling stuck and scared. Life brings us countless challenges and obstacles and sometimes we need a little support from others to help us get through difficult times. Seeking therapy is the beginning of you blossoming into a lotus and rising from the ashes. You have the answers within you and the capacity to heal. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey to reclaim inner peace, self-compassion, and love.

I am looking forward to working with all kinds of beautiful humans on their healing path and have experience working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. If you are struggling with chronic illness or eco/climate anxiety, I’ve been there and know what it’s like. I am a transpersonal therapist, an empath, and a highly sensitive person (HSP) who is climate aware and trauma-informed. I approach therapy by recognizing the complex and unique being you are and honoring your resilience that has brought you here. Together, we can explore and process your deeper emotions and feelings, allow what is arising to be there, and identify what is holding you back from living your authentic, wholehearted life. It would be my absolute honor to work with you. Please contact me if you are interested.

It is true that in this life, we may all face challenges that take a big toll on our personal

well-being. However, your story of the challenges you have experienced are unique to

you. Does your story involve feeling emotions of anxiety, depression, anger, grief? Do

you feel defeated each day or find trouble being present in your familial, intimate, or

social relationships? Whatever it may be that brought you here today, it would be my

honor to provide you with the space where you can feel safe and comfortable in sharing

your story with me.

I remember how freeing and comforting it was to have my own experience of being

given the safe space to be vulnerable in sharing the emotions and hardships I was

facing in therapy. When I felt the empathy and validation that was communicated to me

in therapy, it was like taking in a breath of fresh air. I felt empowered and knew that I

had the strength and tools to overcome the battles I was facing. From then on, I vowed

that it would be my goal to provide this same life changing experience for my own future

I enjoy creating a collaborative relationship with my clients and integrating approaches

that are unique to their needs and goals. I am passionate about working with all ages

and varying populations. Along with my training at Life Source, I have experience with

working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and adolescents ages 12 to 18.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Thank you for taking this first

step in seeking therapy and I look forward to getting to be a part of the rest of your

Life has its way of knocking you down and taking a toll on you, but seeking therapy is the start of a new beginning. Therapy can help elevate your self-esteem, strengthen your relationships, and broaden your outlook on life.

Learning effective coping skills such as improved communication, interpersonal skills, better expression and management of emotions, the ability to change self-defeating behaviors, greater self-acceptance and self-esteem can help improve your mental health.

I have a passion for helping others, an open-minded approach, and the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds. I am a firm believer that everyone, regardless of race, gender, socio-economic status, etc., wants to be loved, accepted, and understood. I focus on providing a therapeutic environment where clients are enlightened, encouraged, edified, and empowered. I have experience working with adults, teens, and children in an outpatient, residential, and jail setting. I focus on behavioral modification, boundary setting, communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, anger management, parenting, PTSD, grief, and loss. Feel free to contact me when you are ready to take the journey to your healing, and I will accompany you along the way!

Children are our future we must teach them on how to cope and provide them with the best resources. So we can be their number one cheerleader.

I have worked with adults with developmental disabilities. I have also worked with children as young as 5 years old all the way up to 21 year olds and their families. Most of my clients in the past have had a developmental disability and autism. I am extremely passionate about working with this age group and focusing on topics such as school, work, and home life. As well as helping the parents adapt. I am open to any other topics as well.

My goal for counseling is to provide a safe and open space for my clients. I want them to come into session willing to discuss what lead them to therapy in the first place and be able to work on that reason. I will provide specific strategies that cater to the individual.

Thank you for taking the time to read this brief introduction, I look forward to meeting with you and being your cheerleader.

The demands that we encounter daily can seem burdensome and overwhelm us. In fact, managing  the responsibilities of life will eventually take its toll. So, what do you do? Well, by seeking counseling you  have already taken the first step. As your therapist, we will work together to address your concerns and formulate a plan of action. I believe in an eclectic, integrative approach in the therapies I employ during our sessions. However,  I favor the CBT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused models.

We all share a common thing, and that is time. Time can be our worst enemy but it can also be our greatest ally. Allow time in therapy be the support and guide you need during these difficult moments. I hope to provide you the tools and strategies that will promote growth and change in your life. Allow me to be your guide through this therapeutic journey. Change only happens when you commit yourself to building a new you. Life can take you through a storm and at times, you may feel there is no way out of it but with hope and perseverance, the storm will pass.

I am grateful for the opportunity of meeting so many people throughout my life. I am grateful for the experiences I have encountered through my work and personal life. These experiences have created a passionate heart in me to help others. I have worked with all age groups and I have approximately 5 years of experience in working with individuals with mental health disabilities. I am also a

bilingual Spanish speaker. I am fluent in both languages.

Espero que tomes la decisión de hacer un cambio en tu vida. Para que el cambio traspase en tu hogar y en tu familia. Acuérdate que el cambio comienza contigo mismo(a).

Please do not hesitate to contact me.

People suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, or other difficulties feel stuck in those existing ways: feeling like this is their life’s lot. They are miserable and feel that is the way it always will be. I know there can be change with help. One can have a happier, more productive life. Help is available to the courageous that reach out for it to a trained helper.

I create a safe place for the client to change, a space where their emotions and thoughts are taken seriously. I help clients realize and activate their inner resilience to successfully gain knowledge and skills to help them feel differently and to change their behavior to have a happier, more productive, more cohesive life; to feel better each day.

Counseling is a collaborative endeavor. The client and therapist work together to accomplish the goals that the client desires and sets to achieve. I help the client get in touch with their inner self, decide what changes need to happen, and stay with them through their journey with support and guidance. I have benefited from counseling in my own life and can testify that reaching out for help can positively change your life. I have life experience in marriage, parenting, chemical dependency, and many other issues of living in this world. There is a way out of or a way to decrease the emotional pain. I would be privileged to work with you and help you through these challenges.

We do not receive a handbook on how to live life with its innate complexities, and we all need some guidance and support to enjoy it more fully and to have a more productive life. If you would like to work with me, please contact me at Life Source by email or phone.
