Damian Margason
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT138204)

I have two primary focuses in providing therapy. One, I want to include you as a whole person, including your mind, body, and potential. Two, I want to help you heal any emotional wounds you carry and allow you to choose your path forward rather than going about life in the same pattern as always. Towards that end, I utilize the gestalt approach to therapy as well as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and the comprehensive resource model.
As a neurodivergent and trans affirming therapist, I want to help you manage and heal any past trauma, including difficult events that still creep up and haunt you. However, I also focus on social disconnection, healing social wounds, and improving your ability to be your self comfortably in the social sphere.
I always go at your speed. If you want to go deep into emotion and make sense of your experience, that’s what we will do. If you want to take it slow and take a more intellectual approach, that’s where we’ll go. I welcome you as you are.
