About the Workshop.

Whether you are an aspiring clinician (Graduate or Undergraduate) or have had a practice for decades, this workshop is designed for professionals and students of all levels wishing to gain more understanding of how Neurobiology interplays with Attachment Theory in Psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. This workshop will be offered on Saturday, January 13th from 11am - 2pm PST.

From defining attachment and exploring the fascinating bonding process shared among all mammals to understanding the powerful effects of secure attachments, this workshop offers a captivating journey into the heart of human connection. Delve into the profound effects of attachment disruptions, deficits, and traumas, shedding light on the complexities of insecure attachment.

 

Our workshop goes beyond understanding, offering a compassionate exploration of treatment options and prognoses. Join us in exploring healthy emotional connections and learning to navigate the path to secure attachments for a brighter, more fulfilling future.

This workshop will be facilitated via Zoom by our Clinical Director, Dr. Avis Attaway, LMFT who has been practicing for 30 years with a specialization in attachment and trauma. 

​

 

All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Life Source Training Institute, Inc. This workshop will also provide any practicum students or Associate clinicians with 3 supplementary or professional development hours needed for licensure under the Board of Behavioral Sciences. 

​
