Guadalupe Torres
Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee
Hello! My name is Guadalupe Torres (she/ella). I know firsthand how difficult it can be to start therapy, and I have immense respect for the bravery it took for you to seek support. It’s an honor to be a part of your journey toward healing.
This space is yours to do with what you will. I believe therapy should be a safe harbor where you can be your most authentic self, and my door is always open and welcoming. I am experienced in navigating the heavy weight of anxiety and depression, and I’ll do whatever is needed in the moment—whether that’s a full session of crying and deep processing, or shifting gears to handle a specific challenge that comes up during your week. I believe in working at your own pace and will never push you further than what feels comfortable.
As an MFT Trainee, I provide a compassionate space rooted in feminist and LGBTQIA+ affirming values. I deeply understand the complexities of multicultural backgrounds and strive to honor the various layers of your identity. To make therapy as accessible as possible, I am open to seeing clients either in-person or via remote telehealth.
While I primarily use a solution-focused approach to keep us grounded in your goals and maintain a sense of hope, I am committed to adapting my modalities to suit your specific needs. My mission is to empower you to create lasting change on your own terms. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
