Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Many people seek therapy when anxiety, depression, or emotional numbness begin affecting their daily lives. You may notice constant tension, difficulty relaxing, low motivation, or a sense of disconnection from yourself or others. At times you may avoid situations that feel overwhelming, struggle to stay present, or feel emotions that seem difficult to understand or control.

For some, these experiences are connected to identifiable traumatic events. For others, the impact comes from a series of smaller experiences over time—stress, loss, family dynamics, or environments where emotional needs were not always supported. Even when the original experiences are unclear, the effects can show up in the nervous system as chronic worry, fatigue, irritability, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.

Together we can look at how past experiences may have shaped your emotional responses and develop greater awareness of the ways your mind and body react to stress. This process can help you safely process difficult emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside over time.

My work integrates trauma-informed approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM). These methods help address both the cognitive and physiological effects of trauma, supporting the nervous system in processing experiences that may still be influencing how you feel today.

Through this work, many clients begin to experience reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression, greater emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of connection with themselves and others. Therapy can also help you develop new ways of responding to stress, relationships, and life transitions so that old patterns no longer dictate how you move through the present.
